The Tennessee Titans' offense struggled mightily in the Week 3 loss to the Green Bay Packers, which led to lackluster production from both running back Tony Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

Ridley had his worst game of the 2024 season just one week after having his best. The veteran wideout caught one pass on three targets for nine yards in the losing effort.

Meanwhile, Pollard had just six carries thanks to the Titans falling behind early. He added three receptions, but had just 29 scoreless scrimmage yards in total.

Is it safe to deploy either Pollard or Ridley in a Week 4 matchup against the Miami Dolphins? Here's where we stand.

After two productive showings to begin the season, Pollard threw up a dud in Week 3. But there's a few reasons to run him out there again in Week 4.

The Dolphins are giving up the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs, including over one touchdown and 100 rushing yards per game to the position. Also, Miami won't have Tua Tagovailoa again, which could lead to the Dolphins playing from behind and there being a positive game script for Pollard.

Consider the Titans running back an RB2 in Week 4.

Verdict: Start 'Em

Ridley is coming off his worst game of the 2024 season in Week 3 and the rise of DeAndre Hopkins, who was quarterback Will Levis' No. 1 target in 2023, is a concern for his target share, which wasn't great to begin with.

The Dolphins have given up the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers, but they've also only faced one good receiving group in the Seattle Seahawks', which saw DK Metcalf finish with 100 yards and a score.

That, along with his production in Week 2, is enough to consider Ridley a flex option, but he's admittedly a shaky one.

Verdict: Start 'Em
