The New York Jets are likely to welcome two run stoppers back into the defensive lineup against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
Defensive tackle Leki Fotu is in line to make his Jets' debut after a hamstring injury has kept the free-agent addition sidelined up until this point. Meanwhile, veteran linebacker CJ Mosley is officially questionable to see his first action since Week 2 on Monday.
Fotu was a full practice participant this past week and does not carry an injury designation heading into the primetime affair.
"I think he's trending that way for sure, so we'll take this next couple hours and really get a good feel for him," said interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich on Saturday in Florham Park. "I'm feeling good about it."
Although his 21-day activation window is open, Fotu technically remains on Injured Reserve meaning the Jets would have to make a roster move prior to the Monday afternoon deadline. He was eligible for activation in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings, but the team opted to give him more time to ramp up.
As for Mosley, who's rehabbing a toe injury, he was a limited participant in all practices this past week.
"He's felt the best he's felt in a while this week, so we're hopeful," said Ulbrich.
