After the Boston Red Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-5 on Tuesday night at Kauffman Stadium, the two teams will meet again for the series finale on Wednesday.
For the matchup, Boston will send Kutter Crawford to the mound while Kansas City will counter with Cole Ragans.

Seven Royals have recorded hits off of him in his career - Adam Frazier (1-for-5 with two walks), Maikel Garcia (2-for-6), Garrett Hampson (1-for-2), Michael Massey (2-for-2 with two walks), MJ Melendez (2-for-6 with a home run, four RBIs and a walk), Vinnie Paquantino (1-for-3) and Bobby Witt Jr. (1-for-7 with a walk).
Ragans has been good for Kansas City in his 23 starts this year, recording a 3.36 ERA (21st in baseball) and a 1.16 WHIP (30th) while striking out 159 batters (fifth). In his lone start against Boston this year, he allowed one run over seven innings in a victory. Five Red Sox have recorded hits against him - Rafael Devers (1-for-5), Ceddanne Rafaela (1-for-2 with an RBI), Rob Refsnyder (1-for-4 with two walks), Connor Wong (1-for-5 with an RBI) and Masataka Yoshida (1-for-2 with an RBI).
