Boston Red Sox’ targeted Silver Slugger Teoscar Hernandez’s agent went on X today to flex Hernandez’s season. He said that Hernandez took a one-year deal to play in October since it was a pitcher-friendly market and he wasn’t going to get paid what he wanted. He asked at the end to critics overall “who’s laughing now?”

The truth is, the market was soft for everyone, and he was coming off a down year while playing in a very pitcher friendly environment.

Hernandez slashed well with his uptake in long bombs, hitting .272/.339/.501/.840, with 32 doubles and his aforementioned career-high 33 homers.
Fans also want to see the Dodgers outfielder in a Boston uniform, as he could be the righty slugger the team is looking for in the offseason.
Hernandez could become the permanent DH, since his defensive numbers are less than to be desired. His bat, however, would be an amazing pickup.
Hernandez has stated he loves everything about Boston, and the team tried to get him last year but didn’t offer him what he wanted. Now that Boston has said they’re going to be aggressive this offseason, Hernandez would be a great start.
