Aaron Rodgers has landed on the New York Jets' injury report after all.
With the Jets preparing for a trip to London to face the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, Rodgers was officially limited in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
"He's just dealing with his knee, but we're not concerned. It's for the spirit of the rule. If he's getting treatment on something, he's got to be on the injury report," said Saleh while addressing reporters on Wednesday in Florham Park.
On Monday, Saleh suggested that Rodgers was not expected to pop up on this week's report.
"I don't think so. From everything that I've gathered, it's just a standard wear and tear of getting beat up a little bit yesterday," said Saleh.
Pressured throughout much of the Week 4 loss while dropping back, Rodgers took a sack on a 3rd-and-2 play in the later stages of the fourth quarter. He was slow to get up and walked gingerly off to the sideline.
"I'm feeling a little banged up. Took some shots. The knee is a little swollen, but you know just kind of wear-and-tear after Week 4," said Rodgers during Tuesday's weekly Pat McAfee Show appearance.
The 40-year-old Rodgers, who suffered a left Achilles tear fewer than 13 months ago, was sacked five times in the Jets' 10-9 home loss to the Denver Broncos on September 29.
Linebacker CJ Mosley, who has missed two games due to a toe injury, was also a limited participant on Wednesday. Offensive tackle Morgan Moses (knee) and Tyron Smith (vet rest) did not participate.
