Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora went on the 310 to Left show on NESN and talked about how fans have cared for his team through thick and thin. He said the front office is ready to reciprocate.
“Thank you for being patient. Obviously, the past three years have been up and down, and it didn’t work out. But I truly believe…we’re in a good place.
Cora talked about the growth that the offseason will allow for the guys on the team, and then segued into talking about trusting the front office.
“I think the front office is committed to take care of you. You guys have taken care of us for so many years, it’s about time to take care of you.”
Both Boston’s CBO and CEO have promised good things are coming, so Cora’s words may ring true. Only the offseason will tell, which has only just begun for the Red Sox.
