The New England Patriots have had plenty of electric personalities over the years, who have gone on to do things outside of football.
Now, a former Patriots wideout is going to be competing on an upcoming television show, as Danny Amendola was announced as a contestant on the next season of "Dancing with the Stars."
Amendola was announced on Wednesday's "Good Morning America" as one of the participants, and he shared some dance moves that he should probably keep at home if he wants to go far in the competition.
The show has had a long history of NFL players taking on the challenge, including Antonio Brown, Terrell Owens, Emmitt Smith, Adrian Peterson, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin and many more.
Smith, Rashad Jennings, Donald Driver and Hines Ward are the only NFL athletes to win.
Amendola played five seasons for the Patriots, winning two Super Bowls and catching 230 passes for 2,383 yards and 12 touchdowns.
New England will surely be rooting for him in this next adventure.
