The New England Patriots have had one of the worst offensive lines in football this year, with quarterback Jacoby Brissett getting pressured nearly half of the time he drops back.

Through five games, New England has started four different linemen at left tackle and two on the right side, so it's not surprising that they're looking for more options in free agency.

According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, the Patriots are hosting offensive tackle J.D. DiRenzo for a workout on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-6 offensive tackle played collegiately at Sacred Heart and Rutgers, playing both guard and tackle. He also earned offensive team MVP honors with Rutgers in 2022.

After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL draft, DiRenzo signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent and appeared in three games for the team as a rookie.

DiRenzo was waived with an injury designation during this year's training camp.
