The New England Patriots are preparing for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium after winning their season opener and dropping each of their next three games.
Before the game, New England held their second practice of the week on Thursday and announced different levels of participation for injured players on their Week 5 injury report.
Center David Andrews (shoulder), safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), wide receiver K.J. Osborn (shoulder) and offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle) were non-participants for this session.
Limited participants included safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder), cornerback Marcus Jones (groin), wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (knee), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (shoulder), cornerback Jonathan Jones (shoulder), guard Michael Jordan (ankle), center Nick Leverett (ankle), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (knee), safety Marte Mapu (calf), guard Layden Robinson (ankle/wrist) and linebacker Sione Takitaki (knee).
Peppers was upgraded from a non-participant on Wednesday, and Marcus Jones was a new addition to the report.
Tight end Jaheim Bell (neck) was the lone full participant after being limited on Wednesday.
Miami had 11 players either miss practice or participate in a limited capacity on Wednesday.
