After five weeks of horrible performances from their offense, the New England Patriots made a quarterback change ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans, benching Jacoby Brissett for Drake Maye.
The rookie quarterback didn't flash much in the first half of Sunday's matchup, but with less than two minutes to go, he uncorked a deep ball to second-year wide receiver Kayshon Boutte down the right sideline for a 40-yard touchdown.

Maye had a clean pocket on the throw, which allowed Boutte the time to get down the field and the quarterback to deliver a perfect strike. That will be a huge reason for any success that Maye has this season.
If he doesn't have the protection, it will be tough for him to move the ball downfield.
