In the first quarter of their Week 4 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, the New England Patriots lost a big piece of an already injured offensive line, as center David Andrews left with a shoulder injury.
Then, in the second quarter, New England lost offensive tackle Caedan Wallace to an ankle injury on a fourth-down rushing attempt that the Patriots failed to convert. Wallace was questionable entering the week, and now, he's questionable to return in this game.
With Andrews and Wallace both injured in this contest, Vederian Lowe and Michael Jordan inactive and Cole Strange on reserve/PUP, New England has just one healthy backup offensive lineman for the rest of this game- guard Zachary Thomas.
IN-GAME UPDATE: Wallace has been ruled out for the rest of the game.
POSTGAME UPDATE: Wallace was spotted with crutches and a boot in the locker room.
