The New England Patriots have been difficult to watch throughout their first five games this season, as their offense has been putrid on their way to a 1-4 record to start the year.

It's hard to argue that there have been many relevant Patriots for Fantasy Football purposes outside of Rhamondre Stevenson, who is out for New England's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

However, Stevenson's backup has been solid to start the year in a limited role, and the Patriots are also making a change at quarterback. Should fantasy owners use either Drake Maye of Antonio Gibson in Week 6? Let's discuss.

New England had been arguably the worst passing offense in the league this year with Jacoby Brissett under center. While it wasn't all the veteran's fault, he certainly didn't help things.

Maye's quicker release and ability to make plays outside the pocket should help the Patriots push the ball through the air. However, it would be a risk for anyone to think he's going to be a top quarterback in his first start.

Verdict: Sit 'Em

The one thing the Patriots have been able to do offensively this year is run the ball, as they've averaged 131.4 yards per game (eighth-most in the NFL).

Last week, the team rushed for 7.9 yards per attempt, which was a franchise record.

Gibson has been effective this year, rushing for 207 yards and 5.9 yards per attempt and catching eight of his nine targets for 86 yards.

With a bigger workload and the same offensive line for back-to-back weeks for the first time this season, Gibson could be an interesting streaming option.

Verdict: Start 'Em
