Today’s final injury report for the week ahead of the Miami Dolphins’ Week 5 game against the New England Patriots is here, and after two days of a laundry list of injuries, the Dolphins finally got a heap of good news on the injury front. The Dolphins had only five players who weren’t full participants in practice on Friday.
Safety Jordan Poyer was the team’s only non-participant on Friday, and he has officially been ruled out of the Dolphins game against the Patriots with a shin injury. Quarterback Skylar Thompson was a limited participant in practice on Friday, and has been listed as ‘questionable’ for the game, though he’s likely to serve as the backup to Tyler “Snoop” Huntley with the release of reserve quarterback Tim Boyle earlier on Friday.
Cornerback Cam Smith was a full participant in practice, as he has been all week, with a hamstring injury and is also listed as questionable. In some potentially big news for the Dolphins, wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. has been a full participant all week, as he was on Friday, and is also listed as questionable to make his Dolphins’ debut.
The other three players listed as limited participants in Friday’s practice, wide receiver Tyreek Hill (personal), cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee) - a new addition to the injury report –, and wide receiver Malik Washington (quadriceps) all have no injury designation for the game and should be good to go.
On the other side, the Patriots are officially listing 12 players as ‘questionable’ for the game, with lineback Sione Takitaki being listed as ‘doubtful’ with a knee injury.
