The Los Angeles Chargers already traded one long-term player this offseason and the new front office won't be afraid to do it again for the right deal. Would the team really move Joey Bosa?

In suggesting one trade for every team in the league to consider, Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report believes the Chargers should see what they can get in return for the star pass-rusher. To many Chargers fans, this may sound ridiculous, but maybe it's not.

Bosa will turn 29 years old next month and over the last two years, he has played in just 14 games. Though he still can be a great option in the pass-rush game, his best days in that area are most likely behind him. This offseason, there has been speculation that the team may move Bosa or his counterpart, Khalil Mack. Though the bulk of free agency and the NFL draft are behind us, that could still happen.

Los Angeles Chargers could, and maybe should, trade Joey Bosa

While many teams would not consider trading a player of Bosa's caliber, the Chargers selected a player in the second round of last year's draft that makes it much more digestible.

Tuli Tuipolotu picked up 4.5 sacks as a rookie and with more time on the field and a better understanding of the speed needed at the professional level, he could emerge as one of the best young pass-rushers in the league as early as this season.

If that is not enough, the Chargers also signed veteran Bud Dupree as a free agent, giving the team even more depth at the position and creating some wiggle room to move a guy like Bosa.

It will still take a great offer for the Chargers to move Bosa, but it's not something that should be considered off-limits, because there is a great replacement currently on the roster.
