The Detroit Lions left their Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals with several injury concerns, and at least two of the players who were hurt are going to miss time.
The most significant injury occurred to veteran edge rusher Marcus Davenport, who head coach Dan Campbell confirmed will miss the remainder of the 2024 season, according Colton Pouncy of The Athletic. Davenport is dealing with a shoulder injury, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
The Lions signed Davenport this past offseason to provide some support for star edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson. Detroit now has to explore ways it can fill the void for the rest of the season.
Now, here's a look at the rest of the Lions' most notable injuries, along with an update.

Alim McNeill injury update
Per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, defensive lineman Alim McNeill is day-to-day with his shoulder injury. Head coach Dan Campbell said on Sunday night that he couldn't promise McNeill won't miss time, but did say he doesn't expect the injury to be season-ending, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Sam LaPorta injury update
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that tight end Sam LaPorta is dealing with a low-ankle sprain after he underwent tests, and Campbell says that LaPorta is day-to-day, per CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones.
