Top sports media personality has a wildly positive Bo Nix take that you must hear image

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is off to a great start in the 2024 preseason and while fans within Broncos Country are rejoicing that the team may have finally found its guy, pundits are quick to point out that it's "just preseason". 

You find those critics all over social media. Nix is doing this against second and third-string players. He's doing this against vanilla defenses. The list goes on. But Colin Cowherd is not here to rain on anyone's parade. 

Cowherd believes in Nix. In fact, he REALLY believes in him. Check this out:

 

Cowherd is not just suggesting that he will be good, but that he will be the best quarterback in this year's rookie class, at least for this season. He points out that Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye are all playing under a defensive head coach. 

Michael Penix Jr. is behind Kirk Cousins and J.J. McCarthy is already done for the year. That leaves Nix and even if it's just preseason, there is a lot to like. 

Critics may start changing their tune on Bo Nix... quickly

You can talk about how it's just the preseason and that he will see much more in the regular season and all of that is true. But a few key points that are easily glossed over play right into what Cowherd is saying. 

  • - Nix started more games than any quarterback in the history of the NCAA.
  • - Nix is running Sean Payton's offense exactly how it needs to be done. It's night and day compared to what we saw with Russell Wilson. 
  • -The poise shown by Nix shows that no moment will be too big for him. He's ready for the bright lights. 

The Broncos are a team easily dismissed by the masses because of their recent past, which includes missing the playoffs every year since 2015. But there is something special here and it's more than just the hometown fans rooting for the new QB. This is different. 

Soon, there could be quite the bandwagon for those to hop on along with Cowherd.
