Justin Simmons has been patiently waiting for the right opportunity to come his way after being released by the Denver Broncos this offseason. Though many NFL fans have wondered why he has yet to be signed, the two-time Pro Bowl safety has the luxury of waiting for the exact fit he is looking for.
That fit could easily be in South Beach.
Justin Simmons replied to a comment on X and it has people talking. Though this could be seen as nothing more than playing around on social media, it would make plenty of sense if there is something to it.

Justin Simmons would be a great fit for the Miami Dolphins
Simmons is arguably the best remaining free agent on the entire market. The Dolphins have a strong secondary with Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller at the cornerback spots and Jevon Holland and Jordan Poyer at safety. But many teams are starting to use five defensive backs in a good portion of their formations and adding Simmons to that mix could give the Dolphins one of the best secondaries in the league.
Simmons is a sure tackler with impressive ball skills. Having him in the same secondary as a lockdown corner like Ramsey and one of the best young safeties in the league like Holland presents new defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver with some intriguing options.
The Dolphins have the cap space to make a deal happen and a window to win a Super Bowl that is beginning to open with the talent on the team. That could be exactly the situation that Simmons has been waiting for.
