The Denver Broncos have brought back a familiar face to help shore up their offensive line, adding veteran Cam Fleming to the practice squad. Though Fleming has not played for any other teams since signing with the Broncos in 2021, this was the fourth time he has signed with the Broncos.
A fourth-round pick in 2014, Fleming has also played for the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. He has played in 26 games for the Broncos and made 20 starts. The team likes Alex Palczewski and Matt Peart in the swing tackle role, but Fleming has been stout when called upon in his Broncos tenure.
Palczewski also suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 5 and could miss some time.
Cam Fleming worked out for the Broncos last Thursday. Signing to practice squad today. Invaluable depth as O-Line a bit banged up. LT Garett Bolles also missed four plays Sunday because of lower-leg injury, although he returned to the game.

That wasn't the only move the Broncos made on Tuesday. In addition to signing wide receiver A.T. Perry to the practice squad, the team also made the following transactions.
Signed center Dieter Eiselen to the practice squad
Signed WR Kaden Davis to the practice squad (again)
Cut RB Salvon Ahmed from the practice squad
Cut DB Quinton Newsome from the practice squad
Born in South Africa, Eiselen went undrafted out of Yale in 2020 and has played for the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans. He has played in 26 games in his career.
Davis has signed with the Broncos for a third time and second time this season. The Broncos signed him to the practice squad in September, released him last week, and have now brought him back.
Ahmed joined the practice squad last week following the injury to Tyler Badie, but his stay in Denver was short. His release is likely a sign that Audric Estime is ready to come off of injured reserve.
Finally, Newsome was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska and spent this summer in Denver, pushing for a roster spot. He was unable to make the final 53-man roster and was signed to the practice squad, where he has been since, but the Broncos had to make room for Eiselen and Davis and have chosen to part ways with Newsome.
In addition, the Broncos added offensive lineman Will Sherman to the practice squad injured list.
