Maxx Crosby taunts Bo Nix with trash talk prior to one Week 5 snap, but Broncos get last laugh image

During the Denver Broncos' Week 5 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, Bo Nix was introduced to one of the best defensive players in the NFL, Maxx Crosby, but they weren't exactly exchanging pleasantries.

Ahead of one snap before Sunday's game as Bo Nix called out the play, Crosby could be heard yelling at him pre-snap. The clip of the play has made its way to Twitter/X and you can see (and hear) for yourself what it sounded like.

"Bo, I need more f------ base in your voice," Crosby yelled. "Bo, speak up! They don't f------ know!"

It's sure to be something NFL fans are talking about on Monday, and perhaps even some of the recap shows on Monday morning, but both Nix and Crosby will likely just chalk it up to competitive banter. Nix has probably heard worse and Crosby has probably said worse.

However, the Broncos were the ones who laughed last, sending the Raiders home with a 16-point defeat that wasn't even as close as the scoreboard reflected. It was the Broncos' first win over the Raiders after losing eight in a row to them, dating back to December 2019.

The Broncos improve to 3-2 on the season and will host the Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday. The Chargers will be coming off their bye week and will be ready to snap a two-game losing streak.
