The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the most storied and successful franchises in the history of the NFL. But the Denver Broncos have actually gotten the better of them in their all-time matchups.
The Broncos lead the all-time series between these two teams 20-13-1. However, the Steelers have won the last two meetings against them. The Broncos last beat the Steelers back in November 2018, a 24-17 win in which Case Keenum was Denver's quarterback.
Some of the most memorable wins in Broncos history have come against Pittsburgh, including the answer to a great trivia question, who did the Broncos win their first-ever playoff game against? That came on Christmas Eve in 1977, a 34-21 victory over Terry Bradshaw's Steelers.
The Broncos also beat the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game in January 1998, a 24-21 win that sent them to Super Bowl XXXII.
And who can forget about this...

Perhaps the best play in the history of the team.
Broncos looking for first win over Steelers in six years
This week's game will be centered around who will play quarterback for the Steelers. Though fans were hoping for it to be Russell Wilson so the Broncos could stick it to the quarterback that just did not work out for the team following a 2022 trade with Seattle. Instead, it appears that Justin Fields will get the start.
The Steelers are 1-0 and the Broncos are 0-1. The Broncos will be in a huge hole at 0-2 with a loss here, so winning this game is paramount.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Steelers are a 2.5-point favorite on the road.
