The Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans will faceoff in Week 5 in what is set to be one of the games of the week between two Super Bowl contenders in the AFC. And while the game is being pitted as the first game that the Bills are playing against star wide receiver Stefon Diggs since trading him in April, this also marks the first time that star quarterbacks Josh Allen and C.J. Stroud have faced off.
When asked about if he was excited about facing Allen for the first time, Stroud didn't play up the quarterback showdown.
"Not really," Stroud said. "I mean, I'm a big fan of his and respect him. When I met him this off-season I told him that I have a lot of respect for what he does. Heck of a football player. But of course, yeah my competitive nature is I want to win one-on-one. It's no added juice or nothing."
The Bills are coming off a 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, while the Texans defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20.
