The Buffalo Bills traded star wide receiver Houston Texans at the beginning of April, ending a four-year relationship that seemed to become a bit toxic.
The Bills will face their former receiver for the first time this Sunday when they travel to Houston, and it seems the subtle jabs have begun from Houston's side of the fence.
Star quarterback C.J. Stroud was asked about Stefon Diggs and the "revenge game" that lies before him, to which he said he's happy Diggs is finally happy on the football field.
"I'm glad that he's finally having fun playing the game and doing what he loves to do because he loves football a lot," Stroud said.
Josh Allen, on the other hand, has done nothing but talk about how much he loves Diggs despite their split.
"I love 14 [Diggs]. I still do, but everyone wants to keep making this thing a thing and we're so focused on what's going on inside of our building and that's the only thing we're caring about right now."
Allen also said he plans to speak with Diggs before the game.
"I'll say what's up," Allen said with a smile. "Hopefully the favor's returned. I'm sure it will be."
Without a doubt, the pregame meet-up between Allen and Diggs will get as much attention as the game itself.
