The Buffalo Bills have had a long list of defensive injuries through the first quarter of the season. They lost Matt Milano before the season even began, and their other star linebacker Terrel Bernard missed two games with a pectoral injury.
The other big injury on defense was to star nickel cornerback Taron Johnson, who injured his arm in the early stages of Week 1 and hasn't played since. However, that could change this week.
Johnson is practicing in a normal practice jersey, shedding the red non-contact jersey he had been sporting since the injury.
Ja'Marcus Ingram has done a solid job filling in for Johnson over the first five weeks, picking off two passes and returning one for a touchdown in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins and allowing a passer rating of just 75.3 when being targeted, per PFF.
The Bills are gearing up to play the New York Jets to conclude their three-game road trip.
