The Buffalo Bills have seen their offense fall off in a big way over the last two weeks. Their wide receiver room faced a lot of doubt and criticism entering this season, and those criticisms look well-placed after two straight losses.
Khalil Shakir missed the Bills' Week 5 matchup with the Houston Texans, and the lack of separation ability from Buffalo's pass-catchers led to Josh Allen going 9-of-30. However, the Bills could bring in a large reinforcement in the form of a future Hall of Fame wide receiver.
It's a matter of when not if Davante Adams gets traded, and Max Weisman of The Big Lead labels the Bills as a top potential landing spot.
"In their two losses, Allen had less than 200 yards passing and was an abysmal nine-for-30 against the Houston Texans," Weisman writes. "Adding Adams would give Buffalo a clear number-one wide receiver and take some pressure off the run game while giving Allen a dynamic wide receiver again."
The Bills would have to re-work some money, and the Raiders will likely have to eat a large number of Adams' remaining contract, but both can be done. And for the Bills, it's a move they should definitely make.
