Red Sox lose 7-3 to Blue Jays; lose two games in one day image

The Boston Red Sox lose their second game today, after falling to the Blue Jays once again, 7-3. This is their fifth consecutive loss, and it’s their fifth consecutive loss at home.

The Sox had a bullpen game for the second game, and overall they did pretty good. It was only till the fifth inning where things got bad. The Sox gave up five runs that inning, and let up two more in the top of the ninth. The Sox defense also committed four errors in this one game, which also contributed to the onslaught of runs.

As for the offense, like the past few games it has been abysmal. The Sox were able to get one run in the third inning off a RBI single by Triston Casas, and two from a homer by Jarren Duran. However, since they weren’t able to score early, the Blue Jays got traction before they did.

The next game in the series will be tomorrow at 7:10pm EST.
