After the Boston Red Sox dropped the series opener against the Houston Astros at Fenway Park on Friday night, the two teams will meet again on Saturday for the middle game.
For the matchup, Boston will send Josh Winckowski to the mound while Houston will counter with Spencer Arrighetti.

Winckowski has been good for Boston this year, posting a 3.44 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP while striking out 37 batters in 24 appearances (five starts). His last start came in early July, as he allowed three runs on five hits and two walks to the New York Yankees in a 14-4 loss. Six Astros have recorded hits - Yordan Alvarez (1-for-1), Alex Bregman (1-for-1), Yainer Diaz (1-for-2 with an RBI), Chas McCormick (1-for-2), Jeremy Pena (1-for-2 with a walk) and Jon Singleton (1-for-1).
Arrigheti has struggled for Houston in his 20 starts this year, posting a 5.33 ERA and 1.52 WHIP while striking out 116 batters. However, he's allowed three or fewer runs in four of his last five outings. He's never faced any member of the Red Sox's lineup.
