The Boston Red Sox aren't playing in the postseason, but they have plenty of former players who are representing their new teams while trying to win a World Series.
Former Red Sox and current Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts helped his team advance to the NLCS on Friday night, as he hit .222 with an .889 OPS, two home runs and three RBIs in the five-game series against the San Diego Padres.
After the game, Betts joined the FOX broadcast crew which featured Kevin Burkhardt, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz to discuss the moment.
Betts also took the opportunity to speak on his relationship with Ortiz after the played together in Boston.
"I was down, really down, and he gave me words of encouragement. Told me things were going to be cool"

Ortiz and Betts played together for three seasons (2014-16) before the designated hitter retired and was eventually inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Betts helped the Red Sox win a World Series in 2018 and was traded to Los Angeles, alongside David Price, for Alex Verdugo (who was traded to the New York Yankees), Connor Wong and Jeter Downs.
It's amazing to see how close Ortiz and Betts are all these years after their time together on the diamond.
