Tyreek Hill, Robert Griffin III hot take on certain Tua Tagovailoa pass image

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was, in a word, sharp during his team’s win over the Washington Commanders in the second week of the preseason.

Tagovailoa attempted just five passes, completed all of them for 51 yards and capped off his brief showing with a touchdown strike to River Cracraft.

The exclamation point of a showing earned massive hype, including notable commentary from former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III – and star wideout Tyreek Hill.

Griffin wrote the following on social media: “Tua Tagovailoa in one simple fade TD shows why he was a Top 5 QB in the NFL last year. Plays ahead of the defense and wins with ball placement. Tua starts throwing this ball before the WR is even with the DB, and gets it up and down before he can recover.”

And Hill? The man currently in a war of words with Noah Lyles kept his commentary shorter and used it as a chance to praise Cracraft:

Fresh on the heels of his massive extension, the Dolphins expect big things from Tagovailoa in 2024. It’s a feeling that has permeated all of training camp, including some skirmishes and speeches from locker room leaders
