Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has seen the injury speculation and had enough, to say the least.

Beckham, currently on the physically unable to perform list (PUP), recently took to social media to shut down fan conspiracy theories about his status.

One fan who questioned whether Beckham is “pulling off another Will Fuller” got a personalized response from Beckham himself, who wrote the following: “Just gotta realize I get more likes in click with my name in a story then without it… ppl really be bored asf…. Name who person who wants to work from 7am/7pm and not get to do the one thing they love. Plz make that make sense. Get the facts straight , mind ya biz.”

Among the other responses Beckham posted during the sudden back-and-forth exchange, this one stood out:

As always, players getting into it with fans on social media apps never does much for the former. Beckham calling attention to Fuller comparisons (the Dolphins signed Fuller to a $10.6 million contract in 2021 and he caught four passes while battling injury) isn’t doing him any favors, though a level of frustration for Beckham is to be expected.

The Dolphins signed Beckham in the hopes of pairing him with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle but that has yet to come to fruition, with Tua Tagovailoa recently commenting on how the lack of reps together makes it hard to see how the veteran fits just yet.

Head coach Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins have largely sounded unconcerned about Beckham’s status and due to preseason reporting rules, haven’t been overly specific about what’s keeping the veteran on the PUP. That could change in a few weeks when the team has to decide to put him on the final 53 or keep him on the shelf.

Until then, fans will undoubtedly keep messaging the star wideout.
