Cameron Munster was involved in a controversial moment late in the Storm's grand final defeat to the Panthers.
The Melbourne five-eighth tussled with Penrith centre Paul Alamoti on the ground, before the latter made an on-field complaint.
Alamoti alleged that Munster bit him, which saw referee Ashley Klein momentarily stop the game.
Replays showed Alamoti's arm across Munster's face, with the Panthers player then pulling his arm away.

"I swear I didn’t bite him," Munster was heard saying as Klein paused proceedings.
The referee responded, stating he had to place to star half on report due to the allegation made.
"It can’t be certain, it’s on report. [The match review committee] will deal with it later … I just saw saliva," Klein said.

Munster shared his viewpoint post-match.
"I spoke to Ashley [Klein] about the allegation and he pretty much told me that when someone alleges a certain thing, they have to put it on report," Munster said.
"There was no malice or anything in it. I'm very confident that I will get off.
"I spoke to Paul Alamoti after the game and there's nothing bad there. He said he felt pressure but I told him I didn't bite. I've got nothing to worry about."

Storm coach Craig Bellamy also responded to the allegations after the game but admitted he hadn't seen enough of the incident to make an assessment.
"If he thought he was bit then I suppose he's going to say something," Bellamy said.
"I don't know. I've seen a little bit of it ... I don't know whether he bit him or not.
"I haven't spoken to [Cameron] Munster about it.
"I'm sure [the match review committee] will work that out."
If Munster is found guilty, he could be set for a decent spell on the sidelines.
Dragons halfback Kyle Flanagan was suspended for four weeks after a biting incident involving Stephen Crichton earlier in the season.
