WWE Friday Night Smackdown came in hot in their live broadcast on August 23, 2024. Broadcasting from the nation's capital, Washington DC, the event at the Capital One Arena was sold out, continuing the brand's strong streak through the last few years.

Wrestling fans of all ages can remember when they were first intoxicated by the events. For those lucky enough to attend a high pedigree event in person, the experience is even more memorable. Recently, 10-year old aspiring Youtuber, Krazy Dragon 8, got to experience it all for the first time. Match Results

WWE United States Championship Match- LA Knight (C) vs Santos Escobar

Knight was down most of the match but a BFT helped him defend his title.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Naomi, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs Blair Davenport, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn 

Naomi got the pin for the crowd favorites as this rivalry expanded.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match- The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu) (C) vs The Street Profits

Freebird rule alloed Tonga Loa to replace Jacob Fatu as the tag belt holder and then Fatu's interference allowed them to defend the titles. 

Men's Tag Match: Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes vs. A-Town Down Under

Owens and Rhodes won, with another tense belt exchange moment between the two Bash in Berlin opponents.
