Highly sought after was Stephanie Vaquer, a veteran supertalent who recently took AEW TBS Champion and former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné (formerly known as Sasha Banks) to the limit in AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door premium event, then waving off an offer to formally join AEW to sign on with WWE instead.
She had her reasons, and they are a’plenty (you’re encouraged to do a bit of digging there) but one of her top priorities has always been to be a WWE superstar and, following her debut on the SuperShow Summer Tour in Mexico, Vaquer made that clear.

“Today I am here fulfilling a dream.” Vaquer said. “And it’s an honor for me to be a part of the WWE family. But you know what’s the best part? That my debut —.I’m here. In my home with my Mexican people.”
Having owned several women's titles in CMLL (Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre) until her departure last week, Mexico is indeed a home away from home for Vaquer.

Shawn Michaels was the first to publicly welcome Vaquer to WWE and that he’ll see her “in Orlando”, a massive hint toward the likelihood she’ll begin as an NXT talent needing to work her way up to either the Red or the Blue Brand via the WWE Draft.
Having once tried out for WWE in Chile (2018) and no stranger to hard work, Vaquer is completely fine with that path, considering the one that brought her back to the place she’s always wanted to be since she was a little girl watching WW[F] in San Fernando.
Now, she is.
