Ludwig Kaiser draws high praise from The Undertaker: ‘I think he’s gonna be special’ in WWE image

He’s back in the ring and wasting no time whatsoever reminding enemies of both his and Gunther’s that they have a problem. Ludwig Kaiser, having missed several weeks with fractured ribs, made waves on the latest episode of WWE RAW on Monday night by launching a sneak attack on Randy Orton en route to landing a main event match.

Orton would have the last laugh, but there’s more to take away from the evening for Kaiser, who also foreshadowed a trilogy bout with Sheamus following the Celtic Warrior’s beatdown over Pete Dunne.

Kaiser’s singles push was off to a fantastic start before he found himself on the business end of Bron Breakker’s fury but, now that he’s returned, expect things to pick up where they left off — much to The Undertaker’s delight.

Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, via Fightful, the Dead Man offered high praise.

“Gunther’s special. You know who I had a nice long talk with, too, while I was there? Actually, it was Monday, it was this past Monday at RAW, was [Ludwig] Kaiser. I’m high on him, too. Obviously, Gunther’s a little bit farther along, but keep an eye on Kaiser.

“I think he’s gonna be special. He’s easy to hate. What was really refreshing to me was, I was giving him my perspective on what he should be doing, and he was like, ‘That’s what I’ve been feeling. I’ve been feeling all of this,’ and he’s just been waiting for his opportunity because he’s been in the shadow of Gunther.

“But yeah, Gunther, he’s the real deal. He is a throwback.”

Gunther, the reigning WWE Heavyweight Champion, used his historic reign as Intercontinental Champion to propel Kaiser into the spotlight and has recently declared it time for his henchman to dominate the singles circuit; a beatdown on former Imperium member Giovanni Da Vinci also serving as a springboard for it.

Da Vinci has taken his talents to SmackDown after a weeks-long hiatus to reset and try to build his own name and, meanwhile, Kaiser is off to the races on RAW.
