No one would blame you if you hadn't kept up with the latest going ons with former rapper turned rock star turned rapper again MGK. The Cleveland, OH native has changed genres a few times while also dabbling in acting to expand his portfolio. After a debut in the rap world in 2012 and a successful follow-up album in 2015, he shifted to more rock and reached the top of the Billboard charts in 2020 with Tickets to My Downfall. Most notably though he's known for being Megan Fox's plus one.

However in the wrestling world, he's recently decided to take on The Viper, WWE superstar Randy Orton. There apparently was a spat between the two at SummerSlam 2024, which took place in his, Colson Baker's, hometown. MGK appeared on fellow Clevelander Logan Paul's podcast and aired out his grievance, which started a back and forth on Twitter between he and Orton.

On Paul's Impaulsive podcast, MGK alluded to an incident (as transcribed by eWrestling News).

Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast to comment on an incident that reportedly took place at SummerSlam 2024. He said,

“I was in the ring, just coming to Logan to see what we could work out for the show. I saw Randy Orton. I remember seeing Randy Orton talk s**t about me. There is a point where I was like, ‘I’m going to practice a new version of myself. Three…two…one. F**k that. Ay man, f**k you.’ All my boys were sitting there [stunned]. ‘Is this real? I don’t know what’s happening.’ The amount of people that pinned me as the aggressor in every situation I’m in are so wrong.”

MGK has been involved in WWE drama before, as he performed at a prior Wrestlemania and even got some in-ring action. Perhaps there's some kayfabe going on, but Orton caught wind of MGK's appearance and took to X to respond, insinuating that MGK is making up the story.

”🤥@machinegunkelly👀”

Kelly challenged Orton to have WWE release the backstage footage that would vindicate his account.

“you have my number, and you know why you have it btw but i won’t even put you on blast for that. check your texts 🤥”

“camera’s were rolling tell WWE put that out 🤷🏼‍♂️🧐🤥”

Orton has bigger wrestling fish to fry, as he will square off against Gunther in Germany on Saturday at the WWE PLE Bash in Berlin. Orton seeks his 15th world championship.
