WWE Injury: Kairi Sane gives medical update after bloody botch on RAW image

It was a brutal night for Kairi Sane on the Labor Day edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, and not simply because of the outcome of her match. Sane joined Iyo Sky in taking on The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre) and it was a banger but, unfortunately for Sane, that was literally true.

At one point during the match, Sane took to the top turnbuckle for a high-flying attack onto Dawn and Fyre below but someone missed their mark and Sane wound up banging her face on the edge of the announcer’s table.

Despite having blood in her eye, and what initially looked like a punctured eye, and a face full of it as well, Sane taunted Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill — the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions taking in the sights ringside.

Thankfully, it appears Sane dodged a worst-case scenario.

She took to social media following the show and posted a picture of her face, and while it was still covered in blood, her eye appears to be just fine; and Sane gave a thumbs up as well to indicate she’ll be just fine.

With Asuka still absent due to injury, and Dakota Kai as well, the last thing DAMAGE CTRL can afford is to lose another superstar, and especially one as talented as Sane.
