Arsenal are on alert over a shock potential transfer move for Juventus forward Federico Chiesa.
Mikel Arteta is pursuing a host of transfer targets ahead of the new season with talks ongoing over Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino.
Alongside a move to bolster his midfield, Arteta is rumoured to be looking at versatile attackers, to give him more flexibility in the Gunners attack.

As per the latest from Teamtalk.com, Juventus have told up to eight first team players they are up for sale in the coming weeks, as the Turin giants aim to cut costs.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has outlined who could be leaving the club with Chiesa joined on the exit list by fellow Italian internationals Mattia De Sciglio and Daniele Rugani.

Tightening financial rules in Serie A mean Juventus need to offload players to avoid being hit with potential sanctions.
However, if Arteta wants to solidify his interest in Chiesa, he will need to move quickly, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham also linked to the 26-year-old.
Chiesa bagged 10 goals in 37 games for Juventus in all competitions last season after returning from a serious knee injury in 2023.
With his current deal set to expire, a sale looks very likely, and Arsenal could potentially negotiate his valuation down from £30m (38m).
