Simone Biles claps back at TikTok user with NSFW response after letting Jonathan Owens wear gold medal image

Simone Biles has become well-versed in clapping back at the haters this Olympic cycle, for better or for worse. She's taken to Instagram to address Team USA doubters, and now she's moved on to TikTok where her all-around gold medal celebration is being dissected.

That's right. Biles won the Olympic all-around gold medal—the second of her career—and is still having to deal with people yapping about her and her loved ones negatively on social media. Of course, she's not one to sit back and watch the drama unfold either.

When it comes to Biles, no one takes jabs at her family. And this time, an unfortunate TikTok user was put in their place when the gymnast decided to address some misconceptions that had been posted.

Here's what happened when Biles clapped back at a TikTok user with an NSFW response after letting her husband Jonathan Owens wear gold medal.

What did Simone Biles say?

Biles included her family members in the celebrations when she won her second all-around gold medal. This included her allowing her husband, Owens, to wear the hardware for a moment long enough for someone to snap a photo for Owens to post on Instagram.

That's when TikTok user Kiera Breaugh decided to take to social media to criticize Owens for daring to don Biles' medal. She calls it a "PR move," taking a jab at Owens for his controversial comments about his wife in an interview from January. Breaugh accuses him of trying to undermine Biles' success, and many of the comments agree with her.

Biles found the video and commented on it swiftly, clearing things up.

"crazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. so don't ever make assumptions," she wrote, adding an eye roll emoji. "like y'all are so f**king miserable. leave us alone."

The TikTok creator responded to Biles' comment and didn't seem bothered, accepting that the Olympic gymnast wants to be left alone, along with her husband.

Who is Jonathan Owens?

Owens is a 29-year-old NFL safety who plays for the Chicago Bears. He was drafted in 2018 out of Missouri Western by the Cardinals and met Biles in 2020 while playing for the Texans.

Biles lives and trains in Houston, which is how the two connected on the dating app Raya. Owens has become a threat in the secondary during his last two seasons in the NFL, putting together solid seasons for both the Texans and Packers.

Last year in Green Bay, he had 84 tackles and played all 17 games, setting him up for an eventual trade to NFC North rival Chicago. His journey to attending the Olympic games has been well-documented, as the Bears allowed him to forgo part of training camp to travel to Paris to support his wife.
