All good things must come to an end, including the Olympics. Fortunately for us, Paris is making sure to send athletes and fans away with a flourish.
The show, called "Records," will feature more than 100 performers, who will carry out artistic director Thomas Jolly's vision. There will also be a collection of some of the most popular musicians in the world, all of whom share one common trait: their state and country of origin.
Sunday's ceremony, slated to take place at Stade de France — the site of the rugby sevens and track and field competitions — is expected to captivate the masses, much like the various athletic competitions that preceded it. The event will also serve as a handover for the 2028 Summer Games, which will be hosted in Los Angeles.
Perhaps that explains why the four musicians enlisted to wrap up things from the French capital, all of whom hold special appreciation for Tinseltown.
With that, here's a look at the artists set to take Paris by storm Sunday afternoon.

Who is performing at Olympics closing ceremony?
- Billie Eilish
- Snoop Dogg
- Red Hot Chili Peppers
- H.E.R.
- Phoenix
- Alain Roche
While the opening ceremony for the 2024 Paris Games offered a platform for local French acts to show off their chops — in addition to Lady Gaga and Celine Dion — the closing ceremony will be headlined by four of California's most popular musicians: Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, Red Hot Chili Peppers and H.E.R.
All four artists hail from California, with Eilish, Snoop Dogg and Red Hot Chili Peppers all calling Los Angeles (or surrounding environs) home.
The quartet will be tasked with leading the transition as Jolly's showcase attempts to look ahead towards the 2028 Games.
All four are critically-acclaimed not only for their musical achievements — they have combined for 18 Grammy wins and more than 50 Grammy nominations — but also their desire to highlight their hometown over the course of their respective careers.
Expect the same during Sunday's performances.
In addition, French band Phoenix is set to perform, as well as pianist Alain Roche.

Do performers get paid for the closing ceremony?
Contrary to some reports, the musical acts performing at the closing ceremony will not be paid.
A spokesperson for the Olympics denied rumors that artists like Eilish and Snoop Dogg are being paid a pretty penny to sing.
"Contrary to some media reports, the performers at the Paris 2024 Games ceremonies will not receive a fee for their performance," a spokesperson for the Olympics said to Page Six. "Their decision to perform under these conditions reflects their desire to be part of a historic event for France and for the world of sports."
Snoop Dogg reportedly garnered quite a hefty paycheck for his efforts during NBC's Olympics broadcasts, for what it's worth.
New York-based venture capitalist Henry L. McNamara shared on social media that he overheard Snoop's daily Olympic salary from an NBC exec at dinner, revealing that the 52-year old rapper earned $500,000 a day. If those figures were accurate, that means Snoop Dogg walked away with more than $8.5 million by the end of this year's Olympics. Not too shabby for 17 days of work.
