The pundits in the NFL media world likely won't stop talking about the Denver Broncos potentially trading wide receiver Courtland Sutton until it either happens or the team gives him a new contract.

Lately, three-team trade proposals in the NFL have been gaining steam and Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports has a new one that involves the Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Commanders.

Perhaps the only wide receiver's name that comes up more in trade talks than Sutton is that of 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Lately, there have been numerous reports connecting him to the Commanders, where he would have a chance to play with Jayden Daniels, his former college teammate at Arizona State.

San Francisco receives: Courtland Sutton, 2025 second-round pick
Washington receives: Brandon Aiyuk
Denver receives: Jamison Crowder, 2025 third-round pick

Courtland Sutton lands with San Francisco in three-team trade

In this scenario, Aiyuk would land in Washington, where he seems to want to go. Sutton would end up with one of the best teams in the NFL and have a chance to play for a Super Bowl this coming season. But is everyone happy?

It seems like the Broncos are getting the short end of the stick here. Jamison Crowder is little more than an experienced depth piece but the team would receive a premium pick for next year's draft and be out of having to decide whether or not to give Sutton more money, which would be a big relief.

Still, the team needs to give Bo Nix as many solid targets to throw to as it can if they want to see a good level of growth in his rookie season.
