Tyler Boyd makes laughable statements about Titans after latest loss image

The Tennessee Titans aren't just playing poorly through three games of the 2024 season, they might be the worst team in the NFL entirely. Entering Monday night, Tennessee is the only 0-3 team in the league.

It has been a total disaster for head coach Brian Callahan and Co. The offense has been bad in all three games, and the defense, which had been respectable to good over the first two weeks, got absolutely torched in Week 3.

Following the brutal loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, wide receiver Tyler Boyd made a pair of laughable statements about the Titans on Monday that absolutely nobody wants to hear.

"We have a legit team," Boyd said, per Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky. "This is a Super Bowl-caliber team on paper."

The Titans do have a lot of talent on paper, but that doesn't win football games. And, saying that talent on paper is "Super Bowl-caliber" is laughable, at best. Playoff-caliber? Maybe, but that's about it.

Tennessee began the season with an unproven quarterback, who was set to play behind an unproven offensive line. Both Levis and the offensive line have been a disaster, and the defense hasn't been good enough to overcome that.

At this point, the Titans might be fortunate to avoid finishing with the worst record in the NFL with the way things are going.

We appreciate Boyd trying to keep things positive in the wake of Tennessee's awful start to the season, but this team was never a Super Bowl-caliber squad, and three games has been enough to show the Titans aren't a "legit" team, either.
