The Philadelphia Eagles returned to practice Wednesday to begin their on-field prep for Sunday’s Week 6 home game against the Cleveland Browns.
For starters, All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson confirmed to reporters that he has fully cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol. He’ll be back protecting quarterback Jalen Hurts against one of the league's more prominent pass rushes this week.
That leaves two massive lingering questions for the Eagles’ offense: Are top wide receivers A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) ready to go after getting two weeks off to heal?
Here's the latest from the Eagles practice reports (updated Oct. 11):
Week 6 injury update: DeVonta Smith
Now three weeks removed from the brutal hit that knocked Smith out of Philly’s win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, the star 25-year-old has been medically cleared to play Sunday after logging three consecutive full practices.

Week 6 injury update: A.J. Brown
Brown was able to log a limited practice on Friday, Sept. 27, exactly two full weeks after he first popped up on the Eagles’ injury report with “hamstring tightness.”
He was eventually ruled out for the team’s Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he's now a full-go. Like Smith, Brown was listed as a full participant on every practice report this week. He did not appear to be laboring in a video shared on the team's social media this week:
