Travis Kelce isn't thinking about retiring from the NFL anytime soon.

The Kansas City Chiefs' star tight end was asked about his post-playing career plans Tuesday at minicamp. Kelce, 34, recently signed a two-year deal that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL. He's also made the Pro Bowl for nine consecutive seasons and finished with at least 90 receptions and/or 1,000 receiving yards in eight of those seasons.

Kelce said he wouldn't put a timeline on when he would possibly retire, but noted that he wants to play for as long as his body will allow him to play.

"I love coming to work every single day," he said, per The Athletic's Nate Taylor. "I know there’s opportunities for me outside of football. I’m going to keep going until the wheels fall off. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen anytime soon.”

Those "opportunities" involve both an acting and media career. Kelce will be the host of a new game show, will have a role in an upcoming TV show and his "New Height" podcast which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, is being targeted by Amazon.

Kelce's new contract puts retirement rumors to bed for now, but still leaves the door open depending on how he and the Chiefs perform during that time.

Kansas City is trying to win a third consecutive Super Bowl for the first time in NFL history. Kelce, meanwhile, still trails a few legendary tight ends in career stats. He's behind Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten and Antonio Gates in yards and receptions, and behind Gates, Gonzalez, Witten, Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham in receiving touchdowns.
