The Pittsburgh Steelers were busy bringing in players for workouts on Tuesday, which comes just one day before players are set to report for training camp on Wednesday.
According to the league's transactions wire, the Steelers worked out three wideouts, including Tarik Black, Slade Bolden and Greg Ward Jr. And, as was reported earlier in the day, Pittsburgh also took a look at quarterback Ben DiNucci, who may have simply been there to throw to the receivers.
It's no secret that the Steelers' biggest roster question mark is at the wide receiver position, where the team has to find reliable options behind George Pickens to help out starter Russell Wilson. Unfortunately, none of these players will check that box and are instead more camp bodies than anything else.
Ward Jr. is the most established of the group, although that isn't saying much. The former Philadelphia Eagle has 88 career receptions for 768 yards and 10 scores over 40 games (13 starts). His best season came in 2020, when he tallied 419 receiving yards. He hasn't played a snap in the NFL since 2021.

Black has just one game of NFL experience under his belt, which came in 2021 with the New York Jets. He had just one catch for 10 yards in that lone contest. Bolden has never played a snap in the NFL. He was on an NFL roster in 2023, when he spent time with the Atlanta Falcons.
After reporting on Wednesday, Steelers players will hit the field for their first practice of training camp on Thursday. You can check out Pittsburgh's entire training camp schedule right here.
