After trimming their roster from 90 players down to 53 last week, the New England Patriots front office was tasked with filling out the team's practice squad, which can feature up to 17 players if one of them is an International Pathway Player.

While New England began adding players to the practice squad last week, they added two final players on Monday - linebackers Joe Giles-Harris and Yvandy Rigby.

Giles-Harris, 27, should be a familiar name to most Patriots fans, considering he spent the entire 2023 season on the practice squad and made some plays for the team in preseason. He originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019 out of Duke as an undrafted free agent. After two years in Jacksonville, he spent two more with the Buffalo Bills, recording 26 tackles (two for a loss) and a sack in 18 games over his first four seasons.

Rigby, 24, is a rookie, who played five years collegiately at Temple, recording 207 tackles (11.5 for a loss), six passes defensed, four sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 31 games. The Turks and Caicos native joined the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent this offseason but didn't make the team.

Here's what the Patriots practice squad looks like as they head into Week 1:

  • WR Matt Landers
  • RB Terrell Jennings
  • TE Mitchell Wilcox
  • RB Kevin Harris
  • OT Liam Fornadel
  • DE Jotham Russell (doesn't count toward 16-man limit as International Pathway Player)
  • DB A.J. Thomas
  • LB Brevin Allen
  • OL Jerome Carvin
  • OL Bryan Hudson
  • DL Trysten Hill
  • OL Michael Jordan
  • WR Jalen Reagor
  • CB Isaiah Bolden
  • LB Ochaun Mathis
  • LB Joe Giles-Harris
  • LB Yvandy Rigby
