The New England Patriots, like the other 31 teams across the league, are still early in their offseason programs, as Wednesday was just the fifth day of organized team activities.
With that said, it's not surprising that the quarterbacks are still trying to see what type of weapons they have around them.
One of the most intriguing players in New England's offense this offseason will be rookie wideout Javon Baker, who has already been promising some electric performances.
After Wednesday's session where Baker made a few impressive plays, veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett shared the skill set that he's seen from Baker in just over a week of work.
“I think that’s how you build trust; going out there and trying things and seeing what guys can do," Brissett said. "He is a good route runner, good hands, can go up and make plays like he did today. We’re looking forward to see the more he can do.”
Baker showed some off some dynamic playmaking ability during his time at Central Florida which could help take this offense (no matter who's under center) to the next level.
Now, he'll just need to do it consistently and show it against other teams when given the opportunity.
