Pete Carroll didn't believe in running back by committee, to his credit. Carroll believed in putting the Seattle Seahawks' best running back on the field as many snaps as possible, attempting to get the best-possible results consistently. While new head coach Mike Macdonald clearly differs from Carroll in a lot of ways, it sounds like he may have the same philosophy when it comes to handing out pieces of the pie at running back.
Everything we know coming out of training camp indicates that third-year back Ken Walker is far ahead in the running back room and is poised for a huge season. While there's some who believe Zach Charbonnet will still be a significant part of this offense, ESPN fantasy expert Matt Berry says what he's heard is the Seahawks love Walker and plan to make him the guy. Watch.
Ken Walker is going to be a bellcow RB this year but he's not being drafted like it. #FFHappyHour @croucherJD @LordDontLose @rotoworld_fb pic.twitter.com/aFHo65W07J

Walker has already been the lead-rusher the last two years. We're guessing all this hype we've heard from both Berry and Albert Breer is related to a growing role in the passing game. Walker saw 35 and 37 targets his first two years in the league. A big jump there is not out of the question.
