The Detroit Lions held their first practice of training camp on Wednesday and wide receiver Jameson Williams was one of the biggest standouts.
Williams had an issue early on and even while he was practicing, as the third-year wide receiver threw up multiple times, including after reeling in a touchdown grab during one play.
"Jameson Williams briefly left Day 1 of training camp after vomiting several times early in practice," Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reported. "He told me he’s fine, just ate the wrong thing for breakfast.
"Jamo also puked mid-stride after finishing a touchdown catch — took a brief knee, wiped off the puke and got back to work," Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic wrote.
But Williams also received praise from beat writers for his overall showing during the first session of training camp.
"Jameson Williams looks stronger through the middle, more explosive with better body control in the air and near the sideline," Baumgardner wrote. "If he had one hit the dirt today I didn’t see it. Literally looks like a different player from a year ago today."
Capping off what was an impressive day for the Alabama product, he absolutely cooked two defensive backs for a long touchdown catch that was the play of the day.

Williams is picking up right where he left off from the offseason program, when he was also among the team's biggest standouts. The Lions need more out of Williams this season, and he looks primed to give it to them.
