Preseason games are often quiet, but the Atlanta Falcons get a touchdown on the board in the first quarter. New Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson elected to go for it on 4th down after Michael Penix Jr. couldn't connect with Casey Washington on a fade ball.
Running back Carlos Washington Jr. scores the first preseason touchdown of the season for the Falcons with a 1-yard goalline run. Washington Jr. had his best drive of the game, and he needed it. Washington Jr had been quiet up until the drive. Hopefully, he can continue forward with this momentum and help his case for making the final 53.
.@_CWJr runs it in for a TD and the Falcons take the lead!

The Falcons have already entered the red zone twice, and hopefully, they can continue to push the ball down the field.
