Yesterday, the Atlanta Falcons took another step toward fortifying the trenches, claiming 2022 7th-round pick for the New England Patriots, offensive lineman Andrew Stueber from the waiver wire. Stueber spent all five years of his collegiate career at Michigan, mostly slotted as a right tackle. He projects more as a guard at the NFL level, perfect for the Falcons, who could use reliable depth on the interior, but he could also slot in as a swing tackle.
At almost 6'7" and over 320 pounds, his large frame harbors a lot of power and could make him an asset in the run-oriented attack the Falcons are likely to run under offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.
Along with this move, the Falcons let go of undrafted free agent wide receiver JaQuae Jackson out of Rutgers.
