According to Rutgers beat reporter Brian Fonseca, the Atlanta Falcons have signed wide receiver JaQuae Jackson to become an undrafted free agent.
Jackson shows solid straight-line speeds he ran in the 4.4s at his pro day, according to an interview he had with The Draft Network's Justin Melo. Jackson says that he hasn't found a route that he doesn't like to run and his 6'2", 190-pound frame could develop so that he could withstand the rigors of an NFL season.
Jackson transferred to Rutgers for his last season from California University of Pennsylvania, a Division-II school. Jackson transferred to Rutgers to showcase more of his ability against better competition. He ended the season second on the team with 361 receptions on 22 receptions and a touchdown on the season.
